Information Collected When Applying for or Renewing Membership in SGV-CAMFT

When you apply for membership you must specify a user name and password that enables you to access a restricted area of our Web site, where the information you have or will submit is stored. An email confirming your user name and password will be sent to you after you register. Once this confirmation email is received, you may begin to access the restricted area immediately. Your personal information is only used internally except as disclosed below. We do not share your information with any third party except as disclosed below.

Therapist Finder Online Directory

Members in certain categories may elect to participate in the Therapist Finder Online Directory. When you do, your information is made available to the public who access the site. You have the ability to select which information items you wish to be made available through the Therapist Finder. Participation in the Therapist Finder is voluntary and you may revoke your participation at any time.

Membership Mailing Lists

SGV-CAMFT publishes a list of mailing labels containing members' physical (not e-mail) mailing address, and sells the list to third parties such as advertisers. This is a small but important source of funds for the organization. We do not sell, share, or otherwise distribute the e-mail addresses of our members.

Cookies
