As a practicing therapist, when you are a member of CAMFT you have a solid base of support behind you.
San Gabriel Valley Chapter is a group of dynamic professional men and women, both licensed and pre-licensed, dedicated to the profession of psychotherapy who seek to improve and update their skills within a supportive environment of colleagues.
Whether you have a full practice or are building your practice, work in an agency or a clinic, the benefits include:
- Listing in the San Gabriel Valley Chapter Therapist Directory on our website and in a printed directory.
- Receive a monthly E-Newsletter of upcoming events.
- Advertize on our website or e-newsletter at a reduced rate.
- Access the E-Tree: Members have free and unlimited e-mail access to their colleagues for referrals, announcements and questions pertaining to our profession.
- Attend Workshops/Programs at a reduced rate. Our Programs include current topics of interest, an opportunity to network with colleagues about your area of expertise and distribute your brochures, flyers and business cards.
- Monthly Networking Luncheons in Arcadia (3rd Wednesday of the month) and Glendora (1st Wednesday of the month) where members can build relationships with other therapists in an informal setting.
- For our Pre-licensed we have the 3000 Club, a support system for you as you journey towards licensure, which includes special programs for the pre-licensed, reduced fees for membership and programs and an opportunity to network with fellow interns and experienced therapists.
We offer support that only colleagues can provide. If you want to increase your visibility in the profession, avoid isolation and burnout, widen your referral resources, keep abreast of legal and ethical issues, we welcome you to become a member of our chapter.
