| Mary Ann Aronsohn is an experienced, compassionate and easy-to-talk-to therapist. She works with a variety of clients and life situations. She works well with families and couples, adults and adolescents, and knows that doing therapy is truly her life's work. Ms. Aronsohn holds a certification in Object Relations therapy, which focuses on the client's abilities to attach to others and how that affects relationships with her/himself and others. Mary Ann's specialties over the years include: adults recovering from childhood abuse, eating disorders, and stepfamily issues. She is intensively involved in the Collaborative Divorce movement, and teaches a court-sponsored course called PACT, designed to instruct parents as to how to separate/divorce/co-parent while being mindful of their children's needs. With a colleague, she developed and teaches a course called "CHANNELS Of Understanding," which trains separated/divorced parents to communicate and negotiate with greater integrity and effectiveness for their children's sake. She also works, alone and within teams, to help people divorce more gracefully. Ms. Aronsohn is devoted to helping her clients develop their most authentic selves and live their lives according to their deepest values.
