This talk will introduce you to the somatic approach to healing using the Body Centered Medicine® processes. Experiencing and embracing the knowing body offers a deeper understanding the wisdom of the body holds and how it offers rich opportunities for enhancing awareness and creating a supportive environment for healing.

    About the Speaker

Tarnie Fulloon is the creator of Body Centered Medicine®, a somatic healing practice that uncovers the messages held in the body, which have roots in what we think, how we feel and who we are. Tarnie’s expertise lies in exploring the inner landscape for answers to body pain, symptoms, anxieties, and “stuck” places one feels in life. She is a healer, mentor, facilitator, speaker (Tedx Presenter) and budding author. She is an Australian trained Sports Medicine Physiotherapist who worked with athletes at the 2000 Australian Olympics. Tarnie enjoys partnering with those committed to their healing on all levels — physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually — and to empower them to be grounded in their body and lead from the inside out.

Tarnie is a Physiotherapy graduate from Sydney University (Australia), holds her Masters in Psychology from the University of Santa Monica, and a Somatic Movement Certification in Movement Expression.

About the Lunch & Learn Program

Created in 2017, San Gabriel Valley CAMFT’s Lunch and Learn Series has provided a unique opportunity for both learning and networking. Every other month, we gather in an intimate setting at the Women’s City Club of Pasadena to eat, mingle, and enjoy a presentation on important topics relevant to our profession. With no more than 20 attendees, this is a great place to meet colleagues, promote your business, and of course enjoy a delicious meal!

Free parking is provided on site as well as 2-hour, free parking on the street. The $25 fee includes lunch and an informational session. CEUs are not provided for attending this event. If you have any questions, or are interested in speaking at a future event, please send an email to Cyla Fisk, LMFT, at cylafisktherapy@gmail.com

Please register today to guarantee your spot at our next event. We look forward to seeing you there.
