Description (2950 characters max)
Mary Ann Aronsohn is an experienced, compassionate and easy-to-talk-to therapist. She works with a variety of clients and life situations. She works well with families and couples, including all ages of adults, and knows that doing therapy is truly her life's work.
Ms. Aronsohn holds a certification in Object Relations therapy, which focuses on clients' abilities to attach to others and how that affects relationships with themselves and others.
Mary Ann loves working with couples and individuals. She specializes in stepfamily issues. She also works with couples who are on the fence about the future of their relationships, using a modality called "Decision Counseling."
Co-parents can take a private course which Ms. Aronsohn designed and has taught since 2001, which instructs parents as to how to separate/divorce/co-parent while being mindful of their children's needs. Alternatively, she offers co-parenting therapy. This work aids separated/divorces parents in communicating and negotiating with greater integrity and effectiveness for their children's sake.
