My name is June Shigeno, and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist practicing in the San Gabriel area of Southern California. In addition to providing individual, couples, and family counseling, I also conduct workshops and give lectures on topics within my field. I am a certified EFT therapist and supervisor as well as certified EFT therapist. I am also a level III AEDP therapist.
I have worked in a variety of settings with a diverse clientele, including on-site counseling at elementary schools, high schools, universities and graduate schools, as well as with the general population through a local counseling clinic. I have facilitated support groups for cancer patients in the Pasadena area as well. In addition to my private practice, I am currently working in an outpatient clinic that serves clients in the greater Los Angeles area.
I have presented workshops and taught classes on such topics as grief and loss, forgiveness, depression & anxiety, parenting, relationship skills, cross-cultural adjustment, and special considerations in counseling with children.
