I’m Natalie, a Los Angeles-based psychotherapist, artist, and writer. After working in animation and film, I felt a deeper calling to help others heal through the magic of storytelling, which led me to become a therapist. As a former military kid and creative soul with ADHD, I understand the power of imagination to bring clarity and direction to our personal narratives.
My style is collaborative, trauma-informed with direct and gentle feedback. My foundation lies in psychodynamic and somatic work, exploring the hidden depths of your mind and body. However, I believe in an integrative approach, and I weave in and have formal training in evidence-based methods like Brainspotting, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Jungian archetypes, DBT and ACT to tailor a unique path for your healing. I’m working towards EMDR certification, and I am currently in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Level 1 IFS training with Dick Schwartz (I’m so excited about this!).
If you’re looking for a therapist who shares these values, I encourage you to reach out. I’m here to support you on your journey towards healing and wholeness.
Additionally, I come from a diverse background with Ukrainian, Chinese-Taiwanese, Armenian, and now Mexican roots! I have a deep appreciation for the richness of individual backgrounds and the unique challenges and strengths that come with navigating both individual and collectivist blended families. This lived experience allows me to resonate deeply with individuals from a diversity of backgrounds, offering culturally sensitive support and understanding.
