Life can feel so heavy and hard sometimes. Maybe you’ve had dark times. Maybe you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, stuckness, grief, the effects of trauma, or difficulty with relationships, and there’s a small voice inside you saying, “I’m so tired of this.”
I am here to help you understand and unburden from your pain and rediscover your strength, your creativity, your connection with others, and your true voice. I offer a warm and inclusive space where you are allowed to just BE, and where you can feel safe exploring and expressing whatever has been weighing you down. Together we uncover the beliefs, patterns, and past events that shape your experience. As I listen to you and HEAR you, I look for the small signals that point toward the deeper truths inside you that are yearning to be known. We nurture and ignite the extraordinary light that shines within you.
My approach to therapy is Person-Centered, Psychodynamic, Trauma Informed, and Emotion- and Somatic-focused. I also offer Expressive Play as a non-traditional approach to self-discovery and creative flow. I work with Adults, Teens, and Couples.
I practice compassionate and intuitive listening.
I am a former writer and performer. I’ve experienced depression, anxiety, deep rage, and grief. I’ve had losses, been through cancer, and am a sexual abuse survivor. I fell in love with therapy through my own journey, and I feel honored to help hold open the door for others to come to peace and self-understanding.
I have a cozy, quiet office in a Pasadena bungalow, close to Arroyo Whole Foods. There’s plenty of free street parking, a comfy waiting room, and tea.
