I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) based in Pasadena, California, offering integrative somatic and relational psychotherapy for adolescents and adults. I launched a private practice following two years as a primary therapist at the Meadows Malibu, where I provided individual and group therapy, family sessions, and case management for clients presenting with complex trauma, chemical dependency, medical and acute trauma, personality disorders, and codependency.
My clinical approach draws on Somatic Experiencing, Post Induction Therapy (Meadows-trained in Pia Mellody's model), and relational psychodynamic theory. I work at the intersection of early relational trauma, nervous system physiology, and attachment, with particular attention to the ways childhood relational wounds organize adult functioning, self-perception, and interpersonal patterns.
I am available as a primary therapist for individual adults and as an adjunctive somatic experiencing specialist for clients whose treatment includes a strong somatic component. Adjunctive SE work can be appropriate for clients presenting with hypervigilance, freeze states, chronic somatic symptoms, or trauma responses that have been resistant to talk therapy interventions alone. I am comfortable working collaboratively within a treatment team and welcome coordination with referring clinicians.
Clinical areas of focus include complex and developmental trauma, codependency and enmeshment, addiction recovery and aftercare, burnout, anxiety, and relational and attachment difficulties. I have particular experience with clients stepping down from residential or intensive outpatient treatment who require a private practice clinician with the clinical depth to continue and build on gains made at a higher level of care.
I offer in-person sessions in Pasadena and telehealth throughout California. Private pay. Sliding scale available on a limited basis.
