Current neuroscience has shown the CAUSAL relationship between
sleep and a myriad of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and dementia.

You will learn the fundamental relationships between sleep and brain health, as well as practical tools to maximize client outcomes by improving sleep hygiene. You will learn about the different phases of sleep, and the physiological relationship with key structures of the brain including the amygdala, hypothalamus, and frontal cortex. You will also learn about the vital role of sleep in preventing amyloid plaque (a key feature of Alzheimer’s). References will be provided for all information presented.

This workshop is designed to be 50% conceptual and 50% practical.
