Connect and Learn:

Clinician's Crash Course

featuring a presentation by
Amoret Kaufman

 Friday, August 21, 2020

12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Online Via Zoom

For many people, the COVID-19 crisis took their already overbooked and distracted lives to a new level of chaos. Clients report an internet quiz diagnosed them/their child/their spouse with ADHD yet you see hints of anxiety, depression, bipolar, trauma, "quarantine crazy" and . . . well, something you can't quite identify. Where do you start?

In this interactive presentation, we'll discuss:

  • How ADHD presents in children, teens, and adults beyond the DSM criteria
  • The impacts on client outcomes when ADHD is misdiagnosed or ruled-out
  • When to DIY, consult, or refer out for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Which therapeutic tools you already have that can immediately help your client(s).
