John Sovec, LMFT
will present a highly interactive workshop featuring some techniques and practices that are key to building a powerful private practice. Do you know what it takes to be your own marketer, business developer, web designer, social media maven, and advertising executive? Building a successful private practice in today’s competitive market takes more than commitment and perseverance, but the development of a new set of skills that you did not learn in school.
John Sovec is in private practice in
Pasadena
, specializing in working with LGBT teens and their families during the coming out process. John has spoken on LGBT issues at the CAMFT Conference, Alliant University, The Life Group LA, The United States Conference on AIDS, Models of Pride and The EDGY Conference. He has published many articles on LGBT issues and is the topic expert on LGBT concerns for

John is currently on staff at Phillips Graduate Institute as the supervisor in the Post Modern Studies Program.
