Come join us for a casual, interesting conversation with other therapists about topics that we encounter in our work together. Get inspired and make a new friend. Open to all, for licensed clinicians and associates.
Our topic this time will be Suicidality: Beyond Ethics. Let's take a moment to set aside the legal, ethical, and liability issues that often dominate the discussion around suicidality. Let us instead get curious about the clinical aspects of suicidality. How does it feel when a client brings up suicidal ideation? How have clients grown when going through periods of SI? What might clients learn when holding the power to end their own life? What does it do in the family system? I would love to explore this with you.
