Speaker's Bio:

Dr. Chelsea Cawood
received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Her clinical training focused on evidence-based treatments, with an emphasis on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapies. Dr. Cawood is a current member of the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT), and the Association for Contextual Behavioral Therapies. She has completed extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Currently, Dr. Cawood facilitates DBT skills groups and CBT groups, and provides individual therapy using DBT and CBT in a dually-diagnosed residential treatment setting.
