WORKSHOP PRESENTER:
Maribel Contreras
, Doctor of Psychology, M.A in Counseling
Psychology and B.A in Chicano Studies & Criminal Justice is a Certified National Trainer of Youth Mental Health Youth First Aid, the “Seven Habits of Highly Effective Teens” and a Certified Instructor in the “Parent Project.”
Dr. Contreras has an extensive and collaborative background in Youth Development/Services and Social Service programs as well as school based clinical services within the City and County of Los Angeles and within Orange County. Currently, she is the Program Director for Asian Pacific Family Center-East of Pacific Clinics. Dr. Contreras is highly respected throughout the region for her innovative bi-lingual programs for youth and families.
